Physical and Emotional Disorders Associated with Panic Attacks

Various physical and emotional disorders and diseases associated with people suffering panic attacks. We have investigated that 30% of people who suffer from panic attacks and falling victim to alcoholism about 17% of them are addicted to drugs to reduce stress and anxiety that is caused due to attacks panic. However, these drugs and alcohol abuse does not reduce or refrain from panic attacks for long. This is the reason why 20% of patients with panic disorder tend to commit suicide.

People suffering from panic attacks tend to be phobic of different public venues such as stores, malls, streets, fearing attacks in these places. Therefore, those people do not visit these places and are limited in their house. This develops agoraphobia them where they are totally unable to visit secure environments by fear and anxiety developed.

These patients also suffer from irritable bowel syndrome leading to gastrointestinal cramping, diarrhea and even constipation. They also face various heart diseases, however minor, including mitral valve prolapse. Chest pains are also common in these individuals
